For the civil wedding the registrars of the Vienna registry office are at your disposal. You can also book your marriage in Vienna online. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail, fax or via regular mail after your reservation. The appointment will be reserved for you for 14 days. Within these 14 days, you must register in person and with the necessary documents for the proposed marriage or justification of a registered partnership at a registry office. Only then the appointment will be fixed.
Groomsmen are no longer a legal obligation for civil ceremonies. However, as they have a traditional meaning, you can name one or two witnesses on the day of the marriage. Please assure that they have a valid personal or passport.
Depending on the number of guests, we can offer you one of our 4 historic state rooms.
