Welcome your guests in our spacious courtyard or plan an unforgettable entrance in a horse-drawn carriage. We have enough space for small celebrations attended by 40 guests or larger ones attended by 220. Your wedding at our venue will be remembered for years to come.

The Rittersaal – Hall of Knights – offers the right atmosphere if you are planning for an intimate wedding attended by up to 100 people. Its canopy decorated with gold makes for a majestic atmosphere from the very first impression. The reception can be held on the lavish balcony or in the foyer in front of it. The directly adjacent kitchen in the Rittersaal guarantees you fast service. And you can celebrate to your heart’s content!

If you prefer something on a slightly larger scale, then the Landtagssaal – Parliament Hall – is just right for you. Your wishes are given free rein on 346 m². Enjoy a lavish celebration attended by up to 220 guests and no one will disturb you. The impressive ceiling fresco and the bright scagliola walls will amaze your guests. The adjoining rooms can be used as a bar or lounge area, as well as a dressing room for entertainers.

What do I need for a civil marriage ceremony?

The civil marriage ceremony can be held inside our premises or in the courtyard. Registration takes place at the municipal registry of births, marriages and deaths of your place of residence. The statutory notice period for registering marriages is six months, i.e. you may come to register six months before your wedding at the earliest. Regardless of the above, you can book the date of your wedding earlier. More information can be obtained from your local registry of births, marriages and deaths.

Is it possible to have a religious marriage ceremony?

The residence’s own chapel inside Palais Niederösterreich lends itself for a Catholic wedding attended by up to 50 people. Catholic weddings can also be performed in the nearby Schottenstift Church or in the Minorites Church.

Is a fireworks display permitted?

No, unfortunately a fireworks display is not possible due to our location. A fantastic and environmentally friendly opportunity offers our partner of feuershow.at

Are balloons permitted?

No, unfortunately balloons may not be released, as our courtyard is covered by netting to protect against pigeons.

Is the use of candles permitted?

Yes, if the container (e.g. vase) is higher than the open flame.

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is not permitted inside the premises. Our balcony and the courtyard are available for smokers.

May rose petals and rice be thrown?

You may not throw rose petals or rice. The above does not apply to synthetic rose petals.

Where can I park my car?

You can park in the nearby Freyung, Rathaus or Am Hof car parks. Please contact the relevant operator for information about parking fees.
