The Conference Center Laxenburg offers a fantastic scenery for your special day. Your wedding can take place directly on our festival lawn with a view of the historic castle park or in one of our wonderfully renovated premises. Do you celebrate your wedding in a small circle or do you have a large company of 350 people? Depending on the size of your party, we offer you the perfect room.

With the Conference Center Laxenburg we offer just the right ambience for an unforgettable day. Our festival lawn with a picturesque view of the castle park will offer you and your guests a unique expercience. But even in bad weather you won’t be left in the rain, our 5 elegant rooms provide the right ambience.

When is it possible to get married?

Civil ceremonies can be held in the Conference Center Laxenburg from Monday – Wednesday. We ask for your understanding that only a civil marriage ceremony is not possible on weekends. From Thursday – Sunday, in combination with a wedding party, a civil marriage is also possible.

What do I need for a civil wedding ceremony?

For the civil wedding the registry office Mödling are at your disposal. The registration takes place at the registry office of your main residence. The legally required time for registration for marriage is 6 months, i. E. You are allowed to register at the earliest 6 months before your wedding. Regardless, you can reserve your wedding date with us in advance.

Is it possible to hold an agape?

Depending on the weather conditions, either our spacious foyers or our terrace are reserved for your wedding ceremony and also the agape.

How long does a civil marriage ceremony take?

The length of the civil marriage is usually about one hour. Most registrars are keen to include special wishes of the bride and groom. You can book the Conference Center Laxenburg up to 3 hours.

Are groomsmen and maids of honour required?

Groomsmen or maids of honour are no longer a legal obligation. The details of witnesses are recorded immediately before the marriage. Please remember that your groomsman or maid of honour will present a valid identity card or passport.

Which documents are required for a civil wedding ceremony?

  • Passport or ID
  • Birth certificate of both parents of bride and groom
  • Residence Certificate (if needed)
  • Certificate of nubility (for Non-Austrian residents)

Is smoking permitted?

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the premises. Our patio is available for smokers.

May rose petals and rice be thrown?

  • You may not throw rose petals or rice. The above does not apply to synthetic rose petals.
