Palais Niederösterreich’s spacious courtyard is an oasis of peace in the heart of Vienna. An area covering 600 m² invites you to unleash your creativity when organising any event. Decorations to attract attention on Herrengasse, large receptions, marriage ceremonies or entire celebrations, almost anything is possible in the courtyard – even the entrance with a horse-drawn carriage! The balcony can be perfectly integrated with the arrangement of your event as an additional ‘stage’.

The Balcony
Most people envisage something lavish and semi-circular with a column balustrade when they think of a stately balcony, which is precisely what we have on offer! Overlooking the spacious courtyard, you feel like a princess or prince would have in days gone by.
The balcony on the first floor is located directly adjacent to the foyers and is easy to integrate with your event. It can be used as a place to enjoy balmy summer evenings or as a smoking area.
